What do you need a carregister for if you get the actual registration-counting every year?
Of course you get some kind of rough estimation about the 02's still running on the roads but what about all the cars that wait for resurrection? What about the Sleeping Beautys? They are not listed in these official reports.
With this register you can also register these ones. You can also keep up to the history of the vehicles, gve detailled descriptions of car and interior and maybe even find lost cars.
Important: Eventhough this register is accessible via internet, not all the submitted data has to be published. The data being published on this site is the type of car, date of first registration and the area it is located at. Other information is by your own choice. Explicit identification-data like license-plates or VIN(vehicle-identification-number) will not be published.
No data will be published without explicit permission!
Furthermore the www.strichzwo.de - team keeps an eye on this site not becoming a shopping list for pickpockets. Of course we depend on true facts and lots 'n' lots of entries made by 02-enthousiasts.
How to adapt a record
First of all the record has to be transferred to the user. Therefore you have to be logged in as the user. You chose the item Migrate in the carregister-menu, enter, as usual, the record-number and the VIN. If the submitted data is correct, the registered user is now the "owner" of this record and can adapt it by clicking on the  icon.
For uploading pictures you need to switch into adapt-mode and use the link "Upload pictures".
This is also a good way to transfer records to the new owner after a car has been sold.
